Agreement

These Terms and Conditions form a binding agreement between you and LucasApp, its owner, operators, successors, affiliates and service providers. By creating an account or using LucasApp, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not create an account and do not use LucasApp. If you create an account for another person or entity, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that person or entity.

Purpose of LucasApp

LucasApp helps users manually track accounts, balances, movements, income, expenses, transfers, loans, subscriptions, recurring payments, receipts, categories, budgets, summaries and investment information that users choose to enter.

LucasApp may include Premium features, receipt and text parsing through artificial intelligence, subscription tracking, investment watch or portfolio features, market data display, synchronization, security settings, passkeys, two-factor authentication and other features that may be added, removed, modified, limited, suspended or discontinued.

No professional advice

LucasApp is not a bank, broker, investment adviser, tax adviser, legal adviser, accountant, credit bureau, lender, insurer, payment processor, exchange, wallet provider, fiduciary or regulated financial institution.

Any numbers, summaries, parsed receipt data, market data, subscription dates, balances, investment prices, gains, losses, categories or reminders shown in LucasApp are for personal organization and informational purposes only. You are solely responsible for verifying information before relying on it.

Account creation and legal acceptance

You must accept the current Terms before creating a LucasApp account. LucasApp records evidence of acceptance, including Terms version, date and time, email address, account name, timezone if provided or detected, IP address as seen by infrastructure, user agent when available and client platform.

Electronic acceptance has the same legal effect as a physical signature. LucasApp may rely on backend logs, databases, hosting records, Apple records and other technical infrastructure to establish account creation, access, subscription, deletion or Terms acceptance events.

Changes to Terms

LucasApp may update, replace, revise, expand, reduce, reorganize or modify these Terms at any time, with or without prior notice where permitted by law.

If a change is material, LucasApp may require you to accept the updated Terms before continuing to use some or all of the service. Continued use after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

User responsibilities

You are responsible for the information you enter, upload, submit, parse, import, edit, delete, categorize, confirm or rely on in LucasApp. You must keep credentials secure, use a strong password, protect your device and notify support if you believe your account is compromised.

You may not use LucasApp for fraud, money laundering, tax evasion, illegal accounting, unauthorized access, scraping, reverse engineering, attacks, spam, malware, credential stuffing, denial of service, illegal financial activity or any activity that violates law or these Terms.

Artificial intelligence features

LucasApp may use AI to parse text, receipts, vouchers, screenshots, bank movements, merchant lines, dates, currencies, categories and other finance-related information you choose to submit. At the time of this version, LucasApp may route AI requests through OpenRouter using an OpenAI-compatible API. LucasApp may later use OpenAI directly or another provider.

Submitted content may be transmitted to the AI provider for processing. Raw receipt photos submitted only for AI parsing are not intentionally stored by LucasApp after parsing completes, unless a future feature clearly states otherwise or you choose to save an image elsewhere.

AI output can be wrong. You must review and confirm parsed data before relying on it.

Data use and metrics

LucasApp may collect, store, process, analyze and use information you provide or generate through use of the service, including account data, financial entries, AI usage counters, plan state, billing identifiers, passkey metadata, login security counters, IP addresses, user agents, request IDs, logs, timestamps and feature usage.

LucasApp may use aggregated, anonymized, de-identified or statistical data to understand usage, improve reliability, control infrastructure and AI costs, debug errors, plan capacity and develop future features.

Subscriptions and billing

LucasApp may offer Free and Premium features. Premium may be sold through Apple in-app purchases, including monthly or annual auto-renewable subscriptions.

Apple may process payment, renewal, cancellation, refund, taxes, family sharing rules, subscription management and App Store billing information according to Apple's terms and policies. LucasApp verifies supported Apple products and maps them to Premium entitlement.

Disclaimers and liability

LucasApp is provided as is and as available without warranties of any kind. LucasApp disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, uninterrupted service, error-free operation, security, data preservation, financial correctness, investment performance, tax suitability and professional advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LucasApp and its owner, operators, affiliates, service providers and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive or similar damages, including lost profits, lost data, investment losses, tax penalties, missed payments, late fees, provider outages, AI errors, market data errors or unauthorized access.
